UFC 281 takes place in New York City on Saturday night. Ahead of the event, the UFC announced three sponsorship moves.
First, the UFC announced that a renewal of its relationship with Battle Motors. In addition, it has expanded its marketing deal with the company by becoming the Official Electric Commercial Truck of the UFC.
The next sponsorship is the UFC and Dustin Poirier’s Louisiana Style Hot Sauce partnering together to have the former champ’s product to be the Official Hot Sauce of the UFC.
Finally, the UFC and New Amsterdam came together on a deal which will make ‘Wildcard’ the Official Ready to Drink Vodka’ of the UFC. The news may precede an eventual deal with New Amsterdam for the Vodka category which was recently held by Nemiroff.
The flurry of sponsorship announcement comes at the end of another successful year for the UFC. The brands wanted to get ahead of what is likely to be one of the biggest PPVs of the year. Israel Adesanya defends his middleweight title against Alex Pereira on Saturday night.
I also have a new Legal Submission up detailing boxing judge Glenn Feldman as he attempts to sue Jake Paul for Defamation.
